Pinkie Maclure is a Scottish singer and musician. In the mid-80s she began experimenting with primitive loops, cassette library field recordings and her 4 octave vocal range, producing a solo electronic album 'Unman' in 1985, followed by an avant-jazz-rock album 'This Dirty Life' with The Puritans in 1989 and an electro-acoustic pop album, 'Favourite', in 1995.
Since 2000 she has been writing and recording with John Wills, under the name Pumajaw
and continues to write, record and perform in this duo today, with a new album and touring show coming up in summer 2013.
