Brought together by a shared love of skateboarding and hip hop music, Person People have grown from a few friends getting together and recording on a shelf track at home to more than ten members with a live band, multiple producers and several albums. Person People's homespun hip hop is unique in its universal appeal to any music lover. The musical backgrounds of band members vary from metal to jazz, bluegrass to funk, and the band's songs reflect this diversity. Characterized by socially conscious lyrics and original beats Person People are true to their Oregon roots, and their live show is energetic and highly danceable.
