Pasquale Cazzetta, aka Peak, was born 1980 and lives in Zurich. Peak discovered the world of electronic dance music in 1994. He was strongly influenced by the Detroit and Chicago vibe and the acts who played at the legendary Rohstofflager in Zurich. From that on he started to collect a massive vinyl-collection an play in different clubs and special locations. His sets are deep, classic, straight and always kickin'.
2005 first release on canson’s dunken groove EP (handheld records) as co-producer of „double click".
Canson
Amar Derradj, born 1976, works and lives in Zurich. In 1993 he discovered techno and electronic dance music. Having Always been passionate about music and electronic media, he bought his first synthesizer and sampler in 1994. Since then Amar is an inherent part of the underground dance scene in Zurich.
His first release in collaboration with Cosili – a fellow producer and DJ from Zurich - emerged in 2000 on Stattmusik. Their project called Anatol is soon to perform its first live gig at Rohstofflager. The following years are accompanied by many live performances not only in Zurich but all over Europe (WMF/ Berlin, Robert Johnson/ Frankfurt, Batofar/ Paris).
In 2002 Amar starts his solo project called Canson, putting forth the release „One Call“ on Stattmusik. Together with two friends he shortly after founds the record label Handheld and releases # 1,2,3 and 7. Furthermore Canson releases on Sub Static and Morris Audio and remixes for Bit Boutique.
Since this year Canson again performs regularly. His sets are in constant flux, combinig deep, groovy and minimal techno beats with dubby and colourful snippets of sound.
