There are at least 5 Groups called Payback. All 4 groups are guitar based Bands based in Europe. The other is a Jungle/Drum & Bass artist from the UK.

1) Jungle/Drum & Bass dj/producer.

Project from the early 1990s. Remembered for releases on the Labello Blanco Recordings label.

2) Italian hardcore Band

PAYBACK starts in 2001 from the ashes of old roman street punk/hardcore bands. The first record's from 2002 and it's called "Keep Your Friends Close...". Edited by Valium Records, El Paso and Brutus Records it gets very good responses and gives the band the chance to play with HC heavyweights such Integrity, Agnostic Front, Terror. In 2004 PAYBACK put out "Don't Break The Bloodpact" on SFL Recs. This cd is now out of print ! The band keeps on playing live shows in Italy and in the rest of Europe and in 2007 they release the third record "Kings Of Nothing". This record's out for Valium Recz. and is promoted with an european tour in spring '07.

3) Dutch hardcore Band

Risen from the ashes of euro-core pioneers VIOLATION OF TRUST, PAYBACK originated in the summer of 2000, when Marco and Koen decided to go on spreading the hardcore reality after V.O.T. had quit. Joining forces with them on the original line-up were Dennis (OUTLAW) beating the drums and Pieter (THE BUTCHER) smashing the bass. Within two years PAYBACK recorded a demo cd Introducing the PAYBACK crew, donated a track for Onno Cro-Mag´s sampler Respect your Roots and shared a split-cd with Mtown´s S.O.S. for IScream records New League of Hardcore. PAYBACK stands for furious, fast & loud, raw and energetic hardcore! On cd or on stage.....its always pure and right in your face! The band already played on the European Hardcore Festival and with leading bands like: Madball, Agnostic Front, Terror and Sick of it All and is always out there in some venue to fuck shit up! The line-up changed for the first time when Pieter quit and hardcore veteran Robert (TECH-9) took over the bass. To complete the line-up Dre (OUTLAW) teamed up with The Payback Crew to screw up the guitars..... now the time was right to record their first full-length cd Old School Warriors for Uscream records in 2004.

3) Spanish band

PAYBACK was born in 2002. They released a cd called "es mi vida" in 2006.

4) Russian hardcore band.
