BiographyMcCoy grew up in Florence, Mississippi, until December 1981 when his family moved to Slidell, Louisiana. He became a Christian later in life. While in 5th grade, they moved to Mandeville, Louisiana, where he stayed for the rest of his education and where his parents still live. He was signed to Wind-Up Records less than 15 months after his senior year at Fontainebleau High School.

Musical backgroundMcCoy has never had any formal musical training. His dad bought him his first electric guitar from a shop in Jackson, Mississippi for Christmas when he was 12 years old.

Personal lifeMcCoy was married in 2004. He has a daughter named Ryleigh, who was born in April, 2005.

His cux is my best friend !!! XD oh and her father taught paul to play guitar.
