French/Italian Singer :

Born in Mulhouse in 1987. He's the brother of Pierrick Lilliu. He plays guitar co-wrote six songs on his first italian album 'Dimmi Perché' released in the Summer '07.

American Band :

Ted Atkatz's departure from the Chicago Symphony in 2006 to pursue NYCO raised a few eyebrows. Dan Wakin's article in the New York Times in February of '07 chronicled Ted's move to make NYCO his main profession. Since then, the band has toured the midwest and both coasts, as well as participating in the 2007 St. Barts Music Festival. NYCO has been working on their second release, "Realize", due out in October of this year.

Two, NYCOs debut album, resonates with the sincerity and energy of great rock'n roll, capped by Atkatz's striking melodies. Produced by Grammy-award winner Jim Tullio, reviewers have called the album a must-own. Chicago's own Q101 FM and WXRT 93.1 FM, stations that helped bring bands like Wilco and Smashing Pumpkins into the mainstream, have lately taken to spinning NYCOs tunes. The soulful "English Song" has already garnered significant attention, and has even been dubbed a pop classic by WXRT DJ Richard Milne. The song was used by Sony/Acid Planet for a remix contest, and the winning mix will be voted on in coming weeks. NYCO's "Let Me In" was featured in Volkswagen Motor's 2007 Auto Show Podcast.

Onstage, Atkatz is joined by Dave Bowers, Matthew Longbons and Devin Staples. To hear the band live is to see an originality and energy that crowds continue to gravitate to.

NYCO has inked deals with both Sony and JC Penney this year, and you'll be hearing a lot more of their tunes on TV and the airwaves very soon!
