North By Night originally formed in Oak Harbor, OH, USA in 2005 with original members Nick Hammer and Dave Cook. After playing a few occasional shows, and many line-up changes, the band has recently added Hillary Newman (Vocalist, Keyboardist) into the mix. North By Night released their first E.P., "For Friends: An Acoustic Covers Compilation" on Feb. 8th, 2009. Brain Sandwisch was recently joined the band as the full-time drummer, and the band plans on doing several shows during the summer of 2009, with a full original cd in the works as well.
