Music, in all it's forms, has always been a remarkable form of expression. Artists of any age and skill are able to put forth emotions in the form of song. Even more remarkable is the ability for those that hear it to relate to, and understand those emotions. People of all ages and races use music to relax, to get angry, to get over someone or something and to live from day to day. It is in that spirit that None Taken began in early 2001.

None Taken began writing heavily and playing almost any show that would come it's way. The band quickly developed a fan base with their gut wrenching music and stage shows. Their goal for every song and every show was to touch one person, and the people responded. Tears have been shed, blood spilled and anger released at numerous None Taken shows. Their music provides so many avenues of expression. Through a mixture of numerous genres the band has been able to reach out to many different kinds of fans and stick out enough on some bills to really make an impact.

By the start of 2007 None Taken had played over 300 shows on numerous stages throughout the region and the country. The band has made fans within their area and across the internet. They have received thousands of "plays" on popular website myspace.com. Using their form of expresssion, the band truly has touched hundreds, if not thousands of music listeners across the globe. None Taken has had the honor of sharing the stage with acts such as Sevendust, PM5K, Bobaflex, Ra, Allele, The Pimps, NIL8, Dust for Life, Copper and early 90's rockers Jackyl....you know, The Lumberjack song! The band plays a strong schedule of shows within IL and has also made trips to IN, IA, MO, MI, WI, GA, TN and FL...a list they are determined to continue to grow.

As another year begins to lurch forward, None Taken finds itself in a unique state of redefinition. Currently working towards the release of a new album, the band has put a focus on making the music even more personal and truly giving the fans a glimpse of the men behind the songs. Breaking in new members and dealing with separation has increased the band's determination and desire to push forward...not for their own personal gain, but to reach everyone possible. Nothing makes these guys happier than watching their fans, their family in a sense, enjoy and connect with them on a musical and personal level. It is this desire holding these 5 men together and pushing them towards the future. Their only real goal, to connect to those who are searching...one by one if need be.

Due to the departure of lead guitarist Tim Limer to attend school in Arizona, None Taken will go on indefinite hiatus as of October 12th 2007
