There are at least two artists who go by the name Mr. Moon: 1. A German rap artist from Hildesheim. 2. Mr. Moon was an icelandic funk/fusion band that was active from around 1994-1998. The original band members: Sigurdór Guðmundsson - electric bass

Guðmundur Claxton - drums. Sigurþór Þorgilsson - trumpet

Einar Þór Jóhannesson - guitar. The last two joined few months after the first gig. Mr. Moon appeared on tv. and played the Reykjavík Jazz Festival (RúRek) in 1995.
