A native of Jamaica, Queens, singer/songwriter Morley originally began her performing career as a dancer, receiving a full scholarship to the Alvin Ailey Dance Center at age 17. After a knee injury dashed her hopes of dancing professionally, she turned to choreography, also teaching dance and yoga throughout New York City's public schools, community centers and shelters. By the mid-1990s, Morley was also writing her first songs, and in 1998 recorded her debut album, Sun Machine. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
Love me when nobody else can see
Touch my soul, then treat me like I am a stranger
This is not the way I want to feel
Should have known a love this strong
Would bring some danger
