Perhaps better known for his work with Captain Beefheart, Tom Waits, Frank Black and PJ Harvey, Moris has released four solo albums on Candlebone Records. 2004's Head Off featured lyric contributions from Don Van Vliet on "Ricochet Man" and the title track appeared in the episode "My Buddy's Booty" from Season 5 of Scrubs. More recently, in 2008, Moris released Stingray In the Heart.
