Morgoth is a German heavy metal quintet featuring vocalist Marc Grewe, guitarists Carsten Otterbach and Harald Busse, bassist Sebastian Swart, and drummer Rudiger Hennecke. They debuted with a pair of EPs, The Eternal Fall / Resurrection Absurd and The Eternal Fall / Resurrection Absurd, which were later collected on a two-fer in 1991, the same year their first full-length album, Equally Cursed and Blessed, appeared. After the follow-up, 1993's Odium, the band took a hiatus, with grewe recording with Power of Expression and Comecon.
