It was the spring of 2002 when Juha picked up his old guitar and started playing again, and it didn't take long before he was gathering up a band. His brother Timo started playing drums and Tapani, who played in a band called H.C.Homunculus at that time, took the bass players part. Singer was still missing so Juha decided to give it a go and it seemed to work well enough. Molly Grows Up was officially formed at the end of the year 2004, when Jan joined the band. Molly’s music started to find its shape and training became more intense. Influences are absorbed from all around and pinpointing any specific bands is difficult. By painting dark and hopeful shades with mellow vocals and a lot of effected guitars Molly Grows Up is expressing their joys, sorrows and aggressions.
