Mole are Moritz Menzel from Hamburg / Berlin and Ole Löding from Köln. Moritz Menzel makes the tunes and plays most instruments. Ole Löding writes the lyrics.

Mole was founded during the summer of 2000, in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 2002 Mole played at the Studenthouse driv in Tromsø, Norway.

In 2002 they released a demo-EP named "Manchmal", with songs like "Manchmal", "Wenn du nicht mehr glauben kannst" and three other tracks.
