Michael Levasseur is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in a tiny town in South Carolina, and currently living in Portland, Oregon. He has put out 4 albums and played countless shows under the name Michael the Blind. Michael the Blind's most recent album, "Are's & Els" was released June 5, 2012 to critical praise from sources far and wide such as the Onion A.V. Club, PopMatters, Exclaim, M Magazine, The Portland Mercury, Willamette Week and many others.
