Inspired to multitrack tapes as a kid, Mia’s heart was enhanced by big band and musical movies. As a teen she sought out lots of Aussie Rock, later spending time in the US and becoming educated on Hip Hop as a lifestyle. Electronica and sound oddities became of interest to Muze, later having been likened to Underworld in a review by Overplay UK. Jungle, electro, deep house and break beats were a staple whilst an interest in Ambient, Chill Out and Exotica developed. Her time at the Qld Conservatorium was an immense learning curve, during which she experimented with Rock + Electro fusively mixed with world beats. This became her collection: Summer Storm, an intriguing soundscape of music in Australia. February 2012, Mia Muze + Elemental presents their album: eSeason, an alluring electronica fusion, trip hop vocal collection. Both releases are now available for free through miamuze.com.
