Melaton were a great Irish five-piece indie rock band slowly making moves in the music industry. In the end they only managed to release three singles ('Moonstorm', 'Still Water' and 'Falling Star'), giving a couple away free over the internet during the band's lifetime.

They were signed to Sony and preparing to write new material when, in February 2004 fans were given the message,

"Ok fair enough, we've been dropped by Sony and Anto and Luke have left the band. We are presently trying to get back on our feet."

Since then nothing has come from the band and, to my knowledge, no other projects have been started.

Luke Slott has begun on various works of his own and resides in the U.S presently.
