Matakopas was a Heavy Metal Band from Rome, New York formed in 1985. They released their first album called "Coming Out Ahead" in 1987, They later realeased a second album titled "[album artist_matakopas] coming out ahead 2[/album]" The line-up was: Shane Parry (Vocals), Ray Abel (Guitar), Jim 'Boog' Taylor (Bass), and Mark Madonia (Drums).

band members shane parry and mark madonia both went on to form a band known as red hush... the band release a tape and a cd then later broke up... as all members went their seperate ways in the end it all comes back to the famous start
