As the founder of renowned Washington, DC, independent label Teenbeat Records in 1984, Mark Robinson is perhaps best known for his role in the bands Unrest, Air Miami, Flin Flon, Grenadine, and Cotton Candy (a band with whom he still currently plays). Robinson has also released a number of solo recordings, which are typically sparse, carefully controlled and guitar-centred affairs.
