Marine Time Keepers were formed in 1998 and soon began recording their songs on an old 4-track cassette recorder. Some of these recordings found their way to the French label Plastic Pancake and two 7" singles were soon released (Marine Time Keepers EP and Soon Comes A Tear). Work then began on recording the debut album, this time using an 8-track recorder. A Perfect Knowledge Of Dreams was eventually released in 2001, again on Plastic Pancake, and received many good reviews.

The band subsequently took some time off from recording, resuming in 2004. The fate of this latest batch of songs has yet to be decided. Three of these new songs can be heard on this site.
