Margot Day, Singer/Songwritier/Flute player Margot Day has created 5 albums - soon to be released "mOss circle" CD - Fantasy Rock! The Plague (Naraka), The Solo CD, SACRED!, and the unreleased Ladybug Live Show CD. Unique powerful songs had her music in the top 10 at KCPR and receiving increasing play on college stations (WRUV, WGDR, WVBR, WCAT, WUSB, WJUL, KCPR, WRAS, WPTS, WPCR, WNMH, CKMS, WWPW...) across the States and on the internet. And a review in the Futures section of the CMJ new music report. Day’s first band “The Plague” recorded the album Naraka which received regular college radio airplay (#1 at KMSA, WKKL) and intense press and is considered a classic by many. As lead singer for The Plague, Margot Day was part of the genesis of the NYC lower eastside scene, and a strong force in goth and the underground – rubbing elbows with Rob Zombie, Sonic Youth, the Swans, The Ramones, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys, Of a Mesh…..
