Mar de Robles are a progressive rock/fusion band from Rancagua, Chile. Their music is very mystical and ethnical for what they have tagged themselves as ethno-prog when asked.
Mar de Robles have released two albums: MdR (2003) and Indígena (2007), and they have played at numerous international venues, including the prestigious "Baja Prog" festival in Mexico.
The musicians are:
Julio Tobar: vocals, tenor sax and traverse flute.
Rodrigo Moris: guitars.
Cristián Larrondo: bass, fretless bass and chapman stick.
Jesús Parada: drums and percussions.
Ignacio Larrondo: congas, djembé and percussions.
