M.P. (which stands for MetaPhor) is one of the hottest underground rap artists coming from Alabama. Hailing from Birmingham, M.P. keeps his flows and verses laced with entertaining and addictive punchlines and metaphors (thus, the name) M.P.'s style is greatly influenced by the Screwed-Up Texas style, and he has collaborated with Texas artists such as C-Whiskey and d.s.r.. M.P. is CEO of C.I.A. (Cash In Advance) Records, and he has chosen to stay independent. His first original project "Mic Breaka Of The Year" has heavy street buzz, which has been generated without any major marketing, promotion, radio rotation, or distribution. Some of his past mixtapes include "Waaay Afta Tha Kappa", "Goin Fed-Showin Naked All Flows Vol. 1", "Wreckin Underground", and his latest mixtape, "Legend In Da Makin".
