Máia is an American singer-songwriter and classically trained vocalist and instrumentalist. Her passion for creating engaging harmonies led Máia to an early focus on composing arrangements for voice, woodwinds and piano. While voice and flute are her instruments of choice, she also plays saxophones, clarinets, piccolo, recorders, keyboards and piano. In the early-mid 90's, Máia began singing and playing keyboards with the rock group Kaddywompus in Boulder, CO taking their high intensity vocals and hard rock sound around the Denver Metro area.
