A 26 year-old carioca, Luiza Possi, raised in São Paulo, daughter of the singer Zizi Possi, initiated her career at the age of 14. Her first compact disc, "Eu sou Assim", was released in 2001 and included the song "Dias Iguais". In "Pro Mundo Me Levar" (2004), there were "Tudo que Há de Bom" and a version of "Over the Rainbow" (Além do Arco-Íris, in Portuguese).

In her latest work, "Escuta" (2006), Luiza shows maturity acquired throughout her career, presenting an album with strong roots in mpb.
