Low Flying Airplanes is an exciting band of 4 down to earth guys from Yarmouth, Maine. They have spent the past summer reaping the benefits of winning the Maine Academy of Modern Music Rock-Off. They have recently played with the Mallet Brother's at Portland's Alive at Five concert series, with The Pete Kilpatrick Band at the Big Easy, Clam Fest and Munj Fest, and many radio appearances. Currently the band is perfecting their second album, the EP "Sea to the City" and it will be released by the end of the summer. A very talented and heart pumping band upcoming in the portland music scene. They play a total of 10 instruments, and their collective vocal range spans close to four octaves. Andrew, Mike, Dan and Pat all share a love of truth, compassion, the mixolydian mode, and stargazing. They're dedicated to honest music with minimal pretense.
