There are 3 artists (and possibly more) named Locust:

1) Locust is a project of Mark van Hoen, a British artist who has been releasing electronic music since 1993. The American hardcore band "The Locust" changed their name in the late 90's when they realized the name was taken. For information on either artist, visit 'Mark Van Hoen' or 'The Locust'.

2) Locust (로커스트) was also a Korean popular music band, that was active in the early 80's.

3) Locust is an alias of Perry O'Neil, who runs the progressive trance label, Electronic Elements.
