There are two artists called Libre:

1) Libre is a Latvian alternative rock / fusion band from Rīga, Latvia formed in year 2007 by ex members, Lauris Goss and Juris Piziks of alternative rock band The Rift.

Till now the band has recorded 2 radio singles ("Pāri zemes malai" and "Kamēr manis te nav") that have been included in local radio station and music TV rotation. Both songs have video clips. During these years Libre have never play any public live performance yet.

Some part of Libre’s former members plays in bands like Cilvēks ar Putniņu, Oyaarss, The Black Drummer Is a Slave and other.

In May 2010 Libre released self-titled debut mini album that has been produced and recorded in last years with additional help of composer Andris Dzenītis.

Lauris Goss - vocals, keyboards;

Juris Piziks - guitar.

Former members:

Agnese Siksna - bass guitar;

Arvīds Laivnieks - programming, soundscapes;

Jānis Muktupāvels - drums.

2) Libre was a Latin salsa group led by percussionist Manny Oquendo. They were notable for incorporating many bebop jazz elements into traditional salsa music.

Two of their most notable albums are:

1983 || LP "Ritmo, Sonido y Estilo"
