Level 2.0; pronounced "level two point zero"; was formed in 2001 by life-long friends,Matt Clennan and Mike Hoffman (also Auxiliary Control) of Long Island, New York. Originally, the band was called "Final Project", until both members felt they had grown out of that name and wanted to evolve so they called it level 2.0, meaning the next level.

The first full length release titled "Dreams of youth" was an album in retrospect of their youth as friends and the obstacles that they had overcome.

Newer releases such as "Intercept" 2007 and "Armageddon"(T.B.A.) is the evolution of level 2.0. With harsh dancefloor EBM influenced percussion and driving club synth-leads, level 2.0 is sure to be a club/dancefloor favorite!
