Legion of Mary (1-23-1975 to 7-6-1975)

* Jerry Garcia - guitar, vocals

* Merl Saunders - keyboards, vocals

* John Kahn - bass

* Martin Fierro - saxophone, flute

* Ron Tutt - drums

The set lists were often a mix of Garcia originals, Mer Saunders originals as well as a diverse mix of covers by the likes of J.J. Cale, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and many others.

Legion of Mary has a much more jazz/free-jazz/funk feel than normally associated with Jerry's work in the Grateful Dead. There are many great quality recordings in circulation.
