Born in Paris, Lamia came to settle in Casablanca with her grandparents when she was one year old. She grew up within an artistic family. Her grandmother "Mama Douja" usually plays piano, her aunt is a painter, her uncle is a pianist... That explains her leaning at a young age towards singing, dancing and even acting. Her main inspiration in cinema has always been Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and the TV series Fame.
