Biography

Kris Kirkman fronted the popular northwest band Purusa for many years starting '99. The band released and EP and full length which caught the ears of major labels and national radio stations. Purusa spent their time touring the nation with Ian Moore, Joe Bonomassa and members of Toad the Wet Sprocket. With a continued change in line up for Purusa Kris set out on a solo path touring with Glen Philips, Joe Bonomassa, and Pat McGee. Settling down in Portland Oregon Kris hosted a popular weekly showcase which brought in national songwriters to the likes of Joe Purdy, David Gray, and Lucinda Williams.
