Dallas, TX-based Kessler were formed in 2005 by singer Mike Mitchell, guitarists Stephen Tucker and Devin Reynolds, bassist Chris Mitchell, and drummer Jonathan Ogle, specializing in well-crafted melodic pop/rock with lightly Christian themes. The band recorded a track for a locally released compilation CD sponsored by Coca-Cola, and the track caught the attention of the folks at the indie label YMA Records. Signing to the label, Kessler began recording a debut album in 2006 with producer Jim Wirt. "I Know Your Voice" was completed in 2007 and released a year later in 2008. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
