Karl Hyde (born 10th May 1957) is currently one half of the world-renowned dance act Underworld. He has previously served as the lead vocalist & guitarist of 1980's synth-popper's Freur and also as a session musician in the late 80's/early 90's.

He is identifiable for his unique stream-of-conciousness lyrics for Underworld and also his dabbles in the art world with design company, Tomato.
