König is the name for the solo project of Loki, previously known as the vocalist for the visual kei band Sugar. König's inception took place shortly after Sugar's disbandment in 2009. On May 10th, 2010 the ensemble released their first EP, entitled "Gantzfeld". Eight months later, on January 12th, 2011, they released their first single, "Deep Throat". The group is composed of Loki and four support members: guitarists 源依織 (Minamotono Iori, cocklobin) and 柳 (Yanagi, ex. サルーイン), bassist 時雨 (Shigure, ex. uBuGoe), and drummer 由寧 (Yune, ex. the GazettE).
