Biography

Julia Nunes (born January 3rd, 1989) is a singer-songwriter and ukulele player from New York. She started writing songs at the age of 13, when she was member of a Ska band. In 2007, she began to post covers of songs on YouTube, which gained her a lot of popularity. So far she has released 4 albums, Left Right Wrong (2007), I Wrote These (2008), Settle Down (2012) & Some Feelings (2015). Her fifth album is set to release on January 3rd 2018, which is Nunes' 29th birthday. Nunes opened four times for one of her idols, Ben Folds. She made her television debut on January 24, 2012 performing "Stay Awake" on Conan O'Brien. Read more on Last.fm.
