johannes lauxen is a musician from mainz, germany. starting out with mostly electronic music revolving around hip-hop, indie and electronica, johannes lauxen's works started to evolve towards minimal forms of music and atmosphere. on 2008's DROP he built an armys of drumsamples and atmorspheric guitar- and synth-layers to make them melt into an arhythmical rolling and tumbling of no comparisson.

together with drummer raid iskandar johannes got deeper into to ways of improvised music. as "we rip stockings!" they manage to shift back and forth between frantic drumming with rough electronic sample-scapes and more beat-like moments.

in 2009/2010 lauxen's solo work started concetrating more and more on the use of electric guitar. while under his own name (as well as with the guitar improv duo "death machine") he creates atmospheric pieces of mostly improvised guitar, he also released two volumes of minimal psychedelic world-pop tunes under the moniker "summer days".
