Burnt Reynolds Records is proud to present: Self-Hypnosis - the debut album from Intricate Minds. This 22 track release represents a progression in hip-hop from a western Canadian perspective. The variety of moods and tempos show a true dedication to the craft, taking the listener on a journey though the complex thoughts of four MC's.

Production is ably handled by Justin Crates, save for two appearances by Hezekiah (Rakwus Records) and OHNO (Stones Throw), delivering beats that range from gritty and soothing to funky and raw. Guest MC collaborations featuring Pacewon (Outsidaz) and Creep (Golden Disciples) add greater depth to the consistently potent lyricism of the group. Whether it's storytelling, rhyme patterns or vocal skill, every song has a unique and fresh approach to hip-hop. The success of this recording is validated by the Intricate Minds' acceptance into the Rawkus 50, labeling them as one of "the 50 next important hip hop artists".
