immanu el is a band from Jönköping, Sweden. Currently the band consists of the twin brothers Claes and Per, Michael, Emil and Johan, everyone under the age of 20. immanu el's music can be described as somewhat melancholic post-rock with unique guitar and keyboard soundscapes, low key, captive singing with a sad, albeit warm touch. They are mainly influenced by bands such as Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Rós, Radiohead and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
