Ian James works usually as a soloist, playing the acoustic guitar and the harmonica, but he has also dabbled in the electric guitar and the medieval lyre. He is an incredible lyricist, with such memorable lines as, "and I'm never gonna live/by words that were written/by someone/who isnt/me".
Those who have the urge to see him perform will be most likely to find him playing at any of the local high school's public functions.
