IAM ONE is Hannibal Soares, Fabian Chui & James Reynolds. Hannibal is half Portuguese, half Angolan, Fabian is half Belgian, Half Chinese & James is from the sunny island of Jersey. Hannibal & Fabian met in 2007 while DJing at The Cross and began producing music together a couple of months later. They started out making electronic beats, mainly House music as that's what they were playing at the time. What they found out however was that with their diverse ethnic backgrounds they had a lot more rhythms inside them for 1 genre only.
