Hardcore thrashing noise-scapes punctuated by bursts of screams, melodies and dreamy atmospherics. Brutal rhythms sit side by side with more spacey tripped-out, alternatives breaks.. that was Her Words Kill. They released 1 EP, and 1 album in their 5 year existence.Read More...
Her Words Kill were originally formed in Hertfordshire, UK in 2002 as a three members band. Their first shows exhibited a UK hardcore styling to their music, but their music evolved into the more technical and complicated music showcased on their released material.
2004 saw the release of a three-track demo I Will Not Die Her Hero on December 28th. Their debut full length album Load My Revolver, Baby was released on October 1st 2005 through You, Me Records.
In 2006 the band lost a couple of members and recruited two members of Guernsey live favourites The Mid Carson Coalition to join their ranks as the local boys were relocating to UK to go to university.
In the past, they have played shows with the likes of The Blackout, Bring Me the Horizon and Enter Shikari. The band disbanded in mid 2007 and Luke Pickett branched out as a solo artist; Luke Vidamour and Ollie Smith still feature in the line up of Pickett's touring band.
