Biography
Born to the same mother but boasting different fathers, Hyla, Hella and Holla Sylvan were raised in remote eastern Florida, moving to Hallandale as feral children so their mother could work three shifts in the bottle cap plant owned and operated by Pop-Yer-Top, Inc., the largest employer in the area at the time. Largely left to themselves, the girls discovered an early love for broken glass, fire and shoplifting. Self-educated, all learned to play instruments and were heavily influenced by the power balladeers of the '80's and '90's and the glampop movement of the '70's and '80's.
