the creative collaboration between Jon Erik Kjørkleiv and Simen Liberg who met at the creative school "Idefagskolen" in Tunsberg, Norway, 6 years ago. Jon Erik has worked with electronic music for years and runs a small recordingstudio in his hometown Farsund. Simen grew up in a family where music played a big role. His introduction to musicproduction began with Gurumunk. Together they combine the creative & musical/technical know-how of Jon Erik and the musical/creative want-to of Simen. The studio project Gurumunk has been around for 4 years and after a journey through several genres and styles, today they produce a mix of classic 80s synths with organic grooves and tight beats.
