Guns of Navarone are a ska punk band from Coventry and Bedowrth, UK heavily influenced by bands such as Green Day, The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, The Ramones, The Specials and Dropkick Murphys. Gaz named the band after a Specials song. G.O.N. have been playing old school ska punk since September 2008 when the band was formed by lead singer / guitarist Gaz. In July 2009 the band members walked out on Gaz and left him to carry on the band which led him to finding Xander a very talented bassist from Bedworth who immediately added a more raw punk look and sound to the band.
