Gebaervaeterli has been a German experimental avantgarde jazzrock band in times of Schneeball, the first German independent label (which distributed their only LP recorded at 1978). They have been influenced by bands like Soft Machine or Embryo, using uncommon sounds / instruments like basson, cheaky rhythm combinations and a very own approach of combining improvised and composed material. The band existed from 1974 to 1981.
