(1)Gary Thomas (born June 6, 1961) is an American jazz saxophonist from Baltimore, Maryland. He is a member of Special Edition and has worked with Cassandra Wilson, Wallace Roney, Miles Davis and Steve Coleman. He currently is the leader of Peabody Music Institute`s jazz studies.
