They formed in 1996 in Paris, Gameness is composed of Morgan (vocals), Fabien (drums), Vincent (bass) Jerome and Thomas (guitars) In november 2002, the group recorded their first eponymous album, the lyrics have always been a priority for the group either in French or in English In the beginning of 2003 the group signed with Overcome Distribution, and previewed the national release of the album in april, with the group's label "Recap Records"
