Frank Infante was the original guitar and bass player for Blondie from 1978-1982 when the band broke up. His heavy punk/rock style of guitar playing was influential to Blondie's 'new wave' sound. Infante also wrote some of the band's songs including the alternative sounding track 'I Know But I Don't Know' which is on Side One of the Parallel Lines album. Having performed with a lot of heavy sounding artists including Iggy Pop, Joan Jett and the New York Dolls, Infante's heavy blues style has been influential to many artists' sound.
