Biography

Forthright is a hard rock band based out of Vancouver, BC. After their formation in 2002, these good friends began to write a plethora of songs and soon found their way into a studio to record a three song demo. They realized they needed to grow and began writing more intricate songs with more meaning and intensity. This lead them to the 2005 recording of a 9-song effort called "Power Under Control". It was a step in the right direction. Since then they have been writing songs which push them further and further into the sound that defines them. After playing a tonne of shows in and around Vancouver, Forthright decided it was time to record again. In 2006, they had a chance to work with Tim Neuhaus at Ear Art Studios to do an awesome 3 song demo solidifying their best work yet, "Falling into Place". On the verge of it's release, Forthright is gearing up for what is to be a monumental year in 2008.
